Showroomurile auto erau amplasate în urmă cu 15-20 de ani în zonele periferice sau chiar la limita ora­şu­lui, însă extinderea Bucureştului a permis ca acestea să fie acum înconjurate de noile proiecte comericiale, rezidenţiale sau de birouri.Din acest motiv vechiul centru Auto Cobălcescu din str. Cobălcescu a fost transformat anul acesta în Mega Image Concept Store. Tot anul acesta vechiul centru AutoItalia de pe b-dul Timişoara a fost înlocuit de un super­market Penny, iar o platformă de depozitare de ma­şini a dealerului Meridian de pe str. Turnu Măgurele devine acum un proiect rezidenţial dezvoltat de cei de la Cavar Group.„În condiţiile în care valoarea terenurilor de sub anu­mi­te showroomuri auto a crescut până la 800-1.000 euro/mp, în unele cazuri chiar depăşind acest prag, pro­prietarii acestor businessuri au realizat profituri semni­fica­tive valorificând terenurile prin vânzarea către dez­vol­tatori/retaileri sau reconversia şi închirierea clădirilor existente“, a spus Sînziana Oprea, director, Land Agency din cadrul Colliers International România. Ea a subliniat că showroomurile auto au nevoie de suprafeţe de expu­nere şi spaţii de parcare generoase, iar randamentul busi­nessului nu permite o investiţie în teren mai mare de 200-300 euro/mp.
„Considerăm că acest fenomen va continua şi în perioada următoare, iar una din zonele cu astfel de potenţial este cea cu showroomurile auto din zona Expoziţiei, lângă Romexpo“, a subliniat Sînziana Oprea. Spre exemplu, Ţiriac Auto a relocat deja activitatea din showroomul Mitsubishi de lângă viitoarea staţie de metrou de la Expoziţiei, iar Ţiriac Holding ia în calcul mai multe posibilităţi pentru a valorifica terenul din acea zonă.

A New-Age Sports Pickup Truck Might Be Just What Mitsubishi Needs

Pickup trucks can be somewhat polarizing for certain people, believe it or not. While they’re extremely popular in places such as North America and Australia, buyers in Europe and Asia can be less enthused about owning something extremely utilitarian.

Yet, regardless of where you’re from, you might just appreciate everything that went into creating this highly Mitsubishi Ute, rendered skillfully by one Ajay Parameswaran.

This so-called New Age Ute by Mitsubishi can supposedly compete with the best pickups out there, whether it be in the suburbs or the outback. In terms of dimensions, it’s characterized as a mid-size truck, with a tough and chiseled design language, something for a future Mitsubishi Triton to aspire to.

Handsome, isn’t it?

We don’t know about you, but we would much rather have a truck that’s styled in such a dynamic fashion, as opposed to that recently-unveiled Rivian R1T, which is far from pretty, despite its impressive specs.



While the designer doesn’t specify anything about what type of hypothetical powertrain this truck might possess, the fact that it features exhaust tips rules out battery power, at least exclusively. If we could choose, we’d rather it featured some type of advanced hybrid setup, with a punchy yet efficient gasoline engine, and an electric motor. A diesel hybrid could work too, although let’s not open that can of worms.

Say ‘No’ to that steering wheel

While the interior design looks, let’s say modern (it’s not exactly as futuristic as the exterior), that steering wheel is maybe a little too outdated? It’s the exact same steering wheel you’d get in a 2015 Mitsubishi Triton/L200. There is a better design in a separate sketch though.



Still, the cabin looks solid and practical, with storage bins inside the doors, a storage area behind the center console, another one on top of the dashboard, plus two glove compartments. You could store tools and all types of equipment worthy of a “new-age Cowboy”.

All things considered, this is a pretty impressive truck, inside and out. In fact, we would not mind it at all should Mitsubishi one day build something similar. Would you?
